The Massachusetts State Council is saddened to share the news that our colleague and friend Ann Manton PhD, RN, FAEN, FAAN passed away on Dec. 27, 2024.  Ann’s legacy with emergency nursing from bedside to national president and beyond has been an inspiration for many. On Sunday Jan. 5, 2025, there will be a ceremony of nurse honor guard along with a white rose ceremony starting at 3pm for those who wish to attend. We extend our sympathy and thoughts with Ann’s family and will cherish the time we given to spend with her.
